Time for a real vacation! =D

It's been yonks since I blogged, mostly due to final projects I had to complete. Now however I have 1 and a half months of fun and blogging! woop woop!
Actually I have already started as I have spent a day in Jeju biking around, which was so relaxing, but I am sure to feel it tomorrow =P
So to catch you all up on what I have been doing, (which has been work pretty much) I've had 4 design projects all up, one was a scarf which I designed, that can be worn in many different ways. I have three really amazing friends who helped model my scarves, the first was a prototype and the other two were my main scarves which comes in two lengths, short & long.

This is Atara who modelled my two prototypes, in the end I changed both scarves and dyed them and the black and white one became my final product.
It was awesome that she was totally prepared to get her makeup done and Nurit was probably more excited to get her dressed up than me :P

This is Ben from Thailand she helped my model the first of the two scarves I ended up exhibiting, I’m so glad she was willing to do it considering we were both scrambling to finish our final projects. She was a great model too, although she is so tiny lol.

This is Fabi, my amazing Argentinean/Korean friend, she helped me take final photo's for the long scarf I made. It was really good weather and in was at a park behind our school, so convenient and she had just finished her exam too.
It's a shame I didn't visit this place more often, maybe if one of these days the humidity drops (unlikely lol) I will take another stroll down there.

So that was for Creative thinking for Fashion product class.
Here is the final work on display at the exhibition that was held for some of the classes I took...

Another class I had was form development, where I made a sculpture based on my character, very interesting class. Not much else to say about that really except that the professor said I’ll be rich in 5 years from now =P however he was drunk at the time he said it, and he foretold that by the shape of my forehead and nose…ㅋㅋ
These are photos of the sculpture at different views...

The other class that I took which I finally finished today was another Product design class, this one however was not with IDAS but with Hongik Uni. It was stressful up until the last minute they presented, I say they because my classmates presented it while I was here in Jeju finishing up an animation of our shower product. I don’t have all the pictures to fully explain how it works but I do have the renders I did of the final outcome.

Check out the final animation I did at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oomrus1H2MM

These are some renders of the shower.
Hopefully the outcome makes up for the days of not blogging =P
Anyways it's getting late here and I want to wake up early tomorrow to go explore more of Jeju and take more photo's, so I will continue to update tomorrow.
YES! SIGH OF RELIEF that I finally finished this semester off!

Dormitory internet = no posts _ _"

It's taken me many days to finally find a day where I can load this post screen...sorry guys for such a late update post haha.

I have no idea where to start from...
So I think I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves =P

One of my favourite places...all you can eat sushi!! it costs 14000won for dinner and less than 10000won for lunch.

The Sushi was fantastic for the price in my opinion. And the kiwi and strawberry salad dressing was super! The session was 1.5 hours but that was more than enough for me to feel like I ate my money's worth =P

This was in Ehwa, where the filo market is also located.
We took the opportunity one Sunday evening to travel down somewhere different.
This was some random cocktail stall on the street where Eddy had to get a cocktail... He got me one too, Melon flavour lol it wasn't bad.

While walking we found an arcade, very small with many games you could find in Tunza Fun except cheaper...of course =p

Nurit can't really play Time crisis, but she did look scary holding a gun in her hands lol.

Me and Daniel played a game of ice hockey, it wasn't very safe though as I hit the puck fairly decently and it jumped off the table and almost hit that girl playing ddr lol...i mean not funny at all, very serious.

Lastly of course there were plenty of shoes to choose from, I didn't get any but it was very tempting =D
So this was on a Friday we went out with our class and had a beer and ate chicken lol.
My friend ordered me a drink turns out it was larger than the fork! I had to get my friend to share cos I really couldn't drink that all even if I wanted to.

This is Ben, she's from Thialand, cutest girl ever, and she has the best fashion sense ever...sorry Aiya, you would love her wardrobe! lol She use to do the fashion pages for some magazine in Thailand before she came here for furthur studies.

After the chicken place we went to this Jazz bar/coffee place, live jazz band=excellent.

The Jazz Band

Last Saturday was buddha's birthday parade. Funny that I notice a lot of foreigners but not that many Koreans lol maybe they were all in the parade, which lasted a long time lol.
However it was really nice and I managed to get some really nice pictures.

Lanterns everywhere !! lol

The 3 buddha statues

Amazing colour changing lanterns!!

So this was Myeong Dong, we went there for shopping!! =D wonderful place lol.
This was outside forever 21 lol, they greeted random people as they walked in the door as trainees.
...Only in Korea lol

Special showing of Nanta, the most famous Korean musical. Some of my friends and I managed to score some free tickets and got to go to the actual thing, which I will post about in the next blog lol.

Ok I plan to end this blog with food...Mongolian noodles lol
This made me miss home, they have amazing food here but this kind of noodles is rare, and Filipino food or Malaysian food...If only.

Maybe on Sundays if I travelled to that filo market again.

Many more exciting things to blog about tomorrow!!
Happy Birthday Wanju Lee!!~
