PURIM!!! (I have been working hard...After that =P)

So my excuse for this late post is I have been trying not to get distracted so I could finish some of my projects, which I did btw. =D
So I think it was Friday that I am suppose to blog about now. =p (One week ago exactly :P)
Nothing special but we did have a few drinks at HoBar 3, they have like 10 of these bars around hongdae, all with a different number lol.
Anyways this was the first time I brought my camera with me to a bar, so there are plenty of pics of my friends from the Kimchi Club. Enjoy...

Lol I love this photo, it was my attempt and taking it with people posing from above me, and I have to say I am a genius! =D

Actually I've notice some people say  "wow your so smart", to me and I always disagree, but with whenever I get the chance to say it about myself I never hesitate lol, not sure what that means exactly but I'm sure it's cos I like to make them laugh. ;)

OOOO ok so on Saturday I remember saying in my last post that we had a costume party, it's called Purim and it was around a month ago now. However my friends still wanted to celebrate it which was a really good idea cos it was amazing!

Me and 2 of my friends came as mermaids, there were dragons, the joker, a bumblebee, some freaky Korean thing that my French friend had no problem constantly scaring me with, some girl from death note and more...anyways I took many pics that night woooo, go me!

It was a real party so we had a room in uni we used, ordered pizza and drinks and danced until late. After we packed up the place and moved to a club which was really fun especially if you imagine dragons and the joker dancing at a club lol.

 Jiyhe the other mermaid, she is like the cutest thing ever, even her voice matches.
I will be seeing her today so she can help me buy stuff from G-market online, yay for cheaper shopping!
Gmarket is the bomb my roommate buys like everything from there and it gets delivered to our dorm, the other day she bought like 24 packets of microwavable rice for us. =P

 What was awesome was they bought the make up and the material for these costumes and made everything here. They went to visit our professors house to sew together the outfits.

 Rudolf, I met him at the Andong trip but otherwise I don't really know the guy but 1. his name is Rudolf,how cool. 2.( this was suppose to be filled in with the Country he was from but I forgot HAHAHA) 3. He can drink..alot

 Gah! Matthieu's scary as outfit, he always had to do that side tilt thing with his head. We were actually really curious as to how he scored that outfit tho...

 HyeonJun didn't come dress up :( but he did say sorry to me and tell me why, not that I harassed him about it, but some girls put eyeliner on him later as punishment, if that counts for anything here.

Funny story, the white is from flour he had, but when he danced he sweat and the flour became clear and just LOL

He didn't dress up either but I was glad to see him there cos he has a family and he has to watch his daughter most of the time, so I never saw him out except for today.

She was going to come as popcorn (BEST IDEA EVER!!) but something happened and she didn't feel she fit the part of popcorn (light and fluffy/poppy)
But how cool would popcorn have been!!

 David...I don't know what he was, but he wanted to wear neon colour tracksuits. Too bad we couldn't find any :( 

So that was Saturday, Sunday I went to Dongdaemun, AGAIN _ _" I went there on Tuesday as well cos everything was closed on Sundays. But at least my friend Justin (Sae Young) came with me to help me out, the fabric market is massive like 3 buildings 5 levels, everything you could imagine, jewellery, fabric, wires, beads, feathers...everything really!

I was looking for wire so he hadto ask some lady who told us it was on the 5th floor, we had to take stairs to get there, go down a ramp, into another building and walk to section B, where we found many stores with all sorts of wires.

It took us 10 minutes to find, it took my Israeli friends more than an hour LOL

Ah yes so that Sunday I took a trip down to Hyehwa, one stop away from Dongdaemun, looking for this Filipino market.
I thank God I went there this Sunday cos turns out they only open it on Sunday, and when there's good weather!
I bought a few things but I was just happy to walk of the station listening to many filo's talking in english and filipino ;D

 So much filipino food! Too bad I ate b4 I got there :(

There were around 10-15 stores set up like this, with all sorts of random food.

Yes so that was my weekend, other than that I have been spending my time doing my homework so it doesn't seem interesting enough to post. Although I did go to karaoke twice this week, once with some exchange friends who seemed to have an awesome time, and another with some friends I made at church. The second time though my voice was still tired from all the shouting and rock songs the guys ended up playing last karaoke so I just sat back and chilled which was great too.


So glad I am up to date with my work though, it will be less hectic once people have had their mid semesters, it's an american thing Korea has adopted.
But last week was great except I couldn't go eating with people and was forced to eat rice triangles for dinner.
