I've been out and about walking around with Kimchi members and exchange students lately, hence the photo's of lots of my friends here.
The little stalls, they're pretty much everywhere, all the jumper stores and shoe stores are everywhere too, and there are so many food stores it's hard to even consider eating at most of them, but I'm up for the challenge...if my wallet will allow it =D
The last few photos are of these traditional Japanese sweet me and my friend Rena found at dongdaemun, the guys who were making them were very persuasive and entertained us with commentary as they made them, they look like spider eggs lol. Actually it's very, very thin strips of honey and cornflour to produce the cobweb like appearance, and it's filled with almond powder or something like that =P
Finally put together a portfolio today though I think that's the highlight of my few days, I've never had to put one together in the past 3 years I've been designing...always should have one though...and I'm not posting that up on here lol when it's got more stuff then maybe :)
I have really been enjoying myself, it's been an amazing experience so far and I feel as if I've been friends with some of these people for ages! Can't wait for a full day of learning tomorrow. 잘가!
Thanks for posting the photos and the updates. Keep them coming.
