From the previous post I said that I would post more photos this blog, however I realised the only photos I took recently were for my photography class. It was based on slow shutter speeds and fast shutter speeds...
Taking these photo's were pretty fun my roommate helped my out by holding a small light I had at the objects and then used my contact's saline as water droplets.
Using continuous shooting shot multiple shots and chose the one's I liked best.
This is actually my moisturizer from...the face shop!! =D
Works really well, it's for extreme moisture, not for whitening.
I have accepted being tanned here and not pale white lol
Strawberry jam and an apple...I had to use things I had in my room lol
Gil Eun again helping me, this time dropping pieces of bread into a bowl of milk tea.
I tried to eat some of the soaked bread...soggy and weird, I don't recommend you try it, although the tea was still nice.
My spoon and water.
In the end I got some good shots and a big mess on my desk, but back home it is always a big mess.
Today I had a class where I had to present our research about bathrooms, nothing too special actually. The reason why I mention this is because my Aussie friend noticed the same comments I receive from all the proffesors..."you have a very nice speaking voice" or something along those lines anyways...it's like...not related to my work at all, but I will always take the compliment! =P
Actually one class last week where I presented my folio my professor actually said i had a nice voice and then she said I wanted to listen to it so I didn't really pay too much attention to your portfolio.....maybe I got the sentence wrong but Wat the heck! Dude it's called multitasking listening and watching, not too difficult especially when I only have a few slides on my portfolio LMAO!!
So since last post I have done two things here that I have wanted to do since I came to Korea.
1. Get a phone. CHECK! my number here is 010-5803-3713
you can all call me but keep in mind it will be international rates LOL
2. Go to Yongsan electronic market.
My friend took me there cos it's the best place to get second hand phones. All up i spent $90 for a good phone, charger, cable, and recharge sim. My friend was a really good at being nice to the dealer so he gave me really good discounts.
I'm so glad I bumped into him randomly today and that he was free to go with me to the electronics market, seriously not only was it really random but I met him the day before and he was kind enough to spend 2 hours taking a subway and helping me find a good phone...that's Korea for you, they are so fricken nice it's unbelievable!!
And he studied in America for a semester which seems to be the trend here at hongik, everyone wants to travel to somewhere western to study and learn English, I generally trade my English skills for Korean skills. I'm pretty sure someone called me cute here because I study basic Korean... _ _"
Oh yes here is the phone (lol I got carried away talking bout random stuff)
However there are two things I have noticed that bug me about this phone.
1. There is no space button on the dial pad, you have to use the right arrow button for a space OR find symbols and add a space lol.
2. the C (cancel) button is on the dial pad instead and not near the top right corner.
2. the C (cancel) button is on the dial pad instead and not near the top right corner.
Why does South Korea have to be different for! D:
Other than that I enjoy the little flashy lights on it, it even shows the number that's dialing, I have yet to experience how the ringtone sounds but I'm sure it will be cute and I will be unaware it is my phone that's ringing.
Tomorrow I have a field trip to some palace for digital photography class, so stay tuned for some hopefully amazing photo's!! =D
